I kept waiting for you to take back control. He was begging for it. Have fun buddy. You deserve the break.

Went to BJ Penn's today! Unfortunately BJ was on his way to California to get ready for his fight. So I did not get to meet him. :(.

There were 6 guys in class including me. 2 Purple Belts, 2 White Belts and Me and another Blue Belt. Warm ups were just about the same. Then we went on to pass the guard techniques. Guess what we worked on... DeLaRiva Guard stuff!

After that we went on to pass the guard drill which was only 1 time, but it was around 20 minutes. (so my son said). After that it was Free Sparing for the rest of the class. This was 3 rounds of Six (6) minutes.

Both Purple Belts were pretty good. Really comparable to our good guys. They were both real
flexible and smooth with their transitions. The Blue Belt guy I never got to roll with. The White belts were pretty good also. Not as smooth with their transitions or the set ups but they were no slouches either...

All in all it was a good time and I felt so much better getting on the mat after all the eating and relaxing I have been doing!

Oh yeah...Tom Callos was there taking either pics or video and told my wife and kids he was going to post it on www.bjpenn.com

I have not been able to find it, but I will keep looking....

The one Purple belt guy was Tom Callos son. He was the one teaching the class.
