Everyone made me proud to be part of this time. I have never seen heart like Jeff. That kid must have had well over 2 hours of time on the mat. Larry and Carlos had a lot of matches too. I'm impressed with everyone. Great job all.

| It was an impressive outing by the team. Everyone showed alot of heart. Some guys had to fight many minutes, especially Jeff, compared to other tournaments. Some guys were in bad positions and came back to win. We had a great time and Dinosaur BBQ was not bad either. It was a team effort. Profesor did a great job coaching and when he could not be there due to us sometimes fighting three at a time, someone from the team was there for you to coach and cheer. Congrats to those who competed, everyone did great! |

| Thanks to everyone that came out it was an awesome time. Big thanks to Kevin for coming early enough to coach my first matches no gi. Big thanks to Kevin and Larry for walking me through the finals. Also to Professor for breaking my guys will. You got him right where you want him lol. My wife was all nervous and you convinced her I was in an okay spot lol. Carlos and Richard both liked way way more mobile on the ground then anyone they faced. Adam needs to have his matches last a little longer so I can catch one of them lol. Kevin, Marty, and Larry all looked like they do everyday in the academy smashing everyone. Joe H was a terminator. Joe I had a match that would never end. Matt did very well for his first tournament. We all went in and represented well espically at Dinosaur BBQ. |

This was my first tournament and it exceeded every expectation.
I always thought that the combat sports were individualistic, Mano-a-mano, but they're not. We went in there as a team and dominated as a team! I doubt I would have won any match without you guys coaching. You know how you'll hear a song and then can't get it out of your head? I still have Kevin saying "head control Carlos....good," Marty "Knee on belly, quick," and Joe H "get that hook in!" So thank you very much, especially Professor and Sensei!
Thanks Jeff, and I remember when Professor said that, I was thinking "really?" Then I look over and see Adam laughing, lol! And I'm glad I let you talk me into signing up for 4 divisions, I'd definitely do it again.
I have vids of a couple of the matches. Unfortunately with Jeff and Joe I taking so long in their matches, it ate up my battery life. I have Richard S., a couple of Jeff's, most of Joe I's epic match and 2 1/7 of mine. Don't know if you want me to upload them, I could do youtube, facebook and/or vimeo. Let me know.
Thanks. |

They just posted this on the website, don't know what it means (can someone clarify?):
Team Points 1st - Buffalo BJJ 2nd - Peloton 3rd - Machado Rochester
Also, I uploaded a few vids to vimeo. Vimeo limits the amount you can upload in a week, so I did the shorter matches and I can probably upload one more. Jeff and Joe I got like almost two gigs on my cam!
